Recipient of a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Grant

The Canadian Graduate Scholarship is a highly competitive $17,500 research grant funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. SSHRC provides financial support to high-calibre scholars who are engaged in eligible master’s or, in some cases, doctoral programs in Canada. This support allows these scholars to fully concentrate on their studies in their chosen fields.

Arts and Science Scholars are those students with GPAs in the top 1% of each department. They receive a certificate of recognition by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science.
