About Kailey Havelock

Kailey is an ambitious and enthusiastic writer, editor, and scholar living in Toronto, Ontario. She has nearly completed SSHRC-funded Master’s degree in Literatures of Modernity at Ryerson (Fall 2017), with an impressive 4.33/ 4.33 GPA. She holds editorial positions at The Puritan, The Town Crier, and as a professional manuscript editor.


This summer, she has undertaken an internship with The Cooke Agency, wherein she gained valuable experience with various aspects of the publishing industry and has strengthened her editorial, administrative, and technical skills.


Kailey holds an Honours BA in English Literature and Creative Writing, with Distinction, from Concordia (2016). While living in Montreal, she worked as the Editor-in-Chief of Soliloquies Anthology, founder and organizer of the Soliloquies Reads series and Soliloquies Writes online venue, and in various editorial, archival, and volunteer positions.
